STAR Student (Students Training in Advanced Research) Program Natalia Sachs works with a horse leg in a specialized testing apparatus in the J.D. Wheat Veterinary Orthopedic Research Laboratory at the University of California Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Natalia is a class of 2022 veterinary student, and her research project is studying the motion of the equine fetlock joint to help understand catastrophic bone fractures.
