Dr. Boaz Arzi, an Associate Professor in the Surgical & Radiological Sciences Department examines a 3D-printed replica of one of his patient's skulls while looking at the CT data on a computer in the dental suite of the William R. Pritchard Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital at the University of California School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Arzi's research focus includes oral and maxillofacial regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, maxillofacial reconstruction, the temporomandibular joint and cone beam CT application for the oral and maxillofacial region.
