20201029 DJ Darwin Bandoy Genomic Research

Ph.D. candidate DJ Darwin Bandoy in Dr. Bart Weimer’s lab was appointed as a member of the UP (University of the Philippines) COVID-19 Pandemic Response Team. They do genomic research of 150 SARS-CoV-2 strains that can help public authorities target areas about to experience an upsurge of infection. Dr. Weimer’s lab is in VetMed3B at the University of California School of Veterinary Medicine.
